WRPC Wednesday Night Pistol League
Shooting starts at 7pm on the indoor range
Our Wednesday night winter league runs from September through May each year with a short brake over the Christmas Holiday. We alternate our course of fire every other week between PPC and steel plates. The league is open to the public and we welcome new shooters any time. Recommended equipment for semi-auto’s: at least three magazines, revolvers: at least two speedloaders. A holster and magazine/speedloader pouches are helpful but, not necessary. There is a $5.00 fee per shooter each week, please come and join us!
Eye and ear protection is mandatory for anyone on the range during the shoots. No magnum loads are allowed on the indoor range.
PPC: Modified PPC course, fired in two stages on B-29 paper silhouettes. First stage fired at seven yards, 12 shots in 20 seconds with a mandatory reload after 6 rounds fired. The second stage is fired at 50 feet, 18 shots in 75 seconds with two mandatory reloads.
This course will be shot twice, once with centerfire pistol (9mm or larger, NO MAGNUM LOADS) with metallic sights for score and a second time with any traditional rimfire or centerfire pistol caliber’s of the shooters choice (no magnums) with any sights, not for score.
Steel Plates: We’ll have two plate racks set up with six, eight inch steel plates on each rack. Shoot man-on-man, who ever clears their six plates first is the winner. You may shoot any traditional pistol caliber’s except magnums.

As the popularity of our Wednesday evening plate shoot has grown over the last few winters, we have had some request to shoot steel through the summer. So every Wednesday evening from May through September we will have a man-on-man steel shoot. The steel targets will vary from time to time. You may use any traditional pistol caliber pistol, NO MAGNUMS, and any sights. We recommend 9mm or larger in caliber. Shooters will only be allowed to load 6 round at a time to keep things equal between the revolver and semi-auto shooters. These shoots will be held outside on Bay #1, if it rains we will set up the plate racks on the indoor range and shoot inside. Check out the calendar for dates. This shoot is open to the public and new shooters are always welcomed. Hope to see you all on the range!
